The Mountain Hardwear Men's Microchill Zip T is a fleece long sleeve shirt for hiking on a cool day. The Microchill Zip T steps in when the sun can't seem to clear the grass from morning dew. The soft Microchill Fleece is 100% polyester which doesn't just warm the body but also wicks moisture from the skin and dries quickly. This enables you to stay comfortable along the way, whether you have a heavy pack on your back or are just strolling the parks hand in hand with your sweetie. The 8.4 ounce weight makes it a no-brainer when packing your essentials and the standard fit makes it quick for pulling over your base-layer t-shirt. Open the zipper for quick cooling or keep it closed for warmth against the neck. So simple, yet so necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great 2nd baselayer What another great product from Mountain hardwear. This microchill zip is a perfect addition to ones wardrobe. I wear this fleece year around, throw on a t shirt and this over it and your good to go for a day of hiking. I love the fleece as an extra layer when skiing in Colorado Rockies. This is a technical and casual fleece that can be worn from the mountain to the bar. The fleece fits true to size and is very comfortable against your skin. When your feeling a bit over heated, just unzip the zipper and you can dump out a lot of extra heat when doing physical activities. I'm 6'4 200lbs and the xl fits perfect, i have long arms and there is plenty of length in the sleeves. Do your self a favor and pick up this very versatile fleece

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The "go to" fleece Loving this fleece. It's comfortable, warm, and is a great packable fleece for outdoor trips. Have used it mainly for day hikes, but it will be a great mid layer for shoulder season hikes. I own the arcteryx delta 1/4zip fleece and I like the mountain hardware much better - slightly more relaxed fit, higher collar to keep neck warm, and half the price!! Only con, it's straight fleece (not grid pattern like arcteryx) so it's a magnet for hair and fuzz. Still love it though. I'm 5'10" 180lbs and the medium is perfect. I bought 2 of them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Soft, Lightweight, Studly Got this with a gift card since it was about the same price. It's a good jacket for layering or wearing out and about as a jacket. I'm not always a huge fan of pullovers, especially ones with fleece since it likes to catch on clothes and doesn't go on easy but it's not too bad. It dries pretty quick as it was advertised. I'm about 6'1" 175lbs and I got a large which fits well. Only thing I wish it had is a chest pocket like many other Mountain Hardwear items but, all in all, it's a solid longsleeve.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality as usual, but... It's a nice, lofty fleece which is versatile. The only downside is that the color does not match the photo on the website. I ordered the "duffel" color but it is basically dark green. Also, the stitching is the exact same color as the material. Based on the picture and the many other Mountain Hardwear items I own, I expected some contrast between the body material and stitching/logos. I'm not disappointed and I'll definitely keep it. Side note: I really wish they would bring back the Microgrid fleece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Baselayer/Lightweight Jacket This thing is pretty great. Lightweight, nice baselayer, and also good for a chilly summer morning. Packs up small too. Very warm and soft as well which I appreciate. Be careful when washing though, follow the instructions and DO NOT dry on any heat or it can (and will) shrink. Awesome product as usual from MH though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from warm, soft, fits well Its not baggy and is the closest thing to a fitted fleece I own. I like the way it fits and doesn't restrict my movement. Sometimes a little warm to wear inside if the heats up. It's great for hiking in, keeps you warm while going up and down. Never feels like too much. Dries out fast too, another big plus.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good fleece but pricey This is a good solid fleece, well made and comfortable. Even so it's pretty pricey for what it is. I also purchased a Craghoppers Corey III fleece that is equal or better for half the price of this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Baselayer I bought this for my boyfriend who is an avid skiier. He loves it. It is a great baselayer, comfortable and warm! Also a great casual sweatshirt.
