Body Fit - A body-hugging fit for aerobic activities. Ideal for running, skate skiing and next-to-skin layering.

Active Fit - A trim fit, and just loose enough for layering and freedom of movement. Ideal for backcountry skiing, climbing, mountaineering, running, and training.

Standard Fit - A happy medium fit that is not too tight, and not too loose. Standard fitting apparel will fit over base and mid-layers without restricting movement. Ideal for backpacking, hiking, travel, work, and casual wear.

Relaxed Fit - A roomier and more progressive fit, Mountain Hardwear relaxed styles might have a longer length than a standard fit, and a softer drape. Ideal for backpacking, hiking, skiing, and good old fashioned hanging out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I bought this for my husband and he is delighted with it. It fits him well, slides in and out of the car with ease. The hood is very practical as are the pockets. Also it is warm (we bought it for extreme cold weather) and looks really good. We haven't experienced really cold weather since buying the jacket but it seems to be warm so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from XL is crazy big I ordered an XL at first because all of my other MH gear is XL, this this runs HUGE... and I like things baggier for the most part. The XL looked like a 2 or 3 XL. It was so large that when I re ordered I got a medium and large to try. I dont own any clothing that is Medium. I am 5'11" 195lbs. If you normally lean toward XL go L you'll be fine. Quality is pretty good, I saw another user had issues with the main zipper, it does seem to have a little learning curve to it which is annoying but not a big deal. For me the hood is a little ridiculous as I do not plan on using a helmet underneath, but there is a draw string which makes it usable. Pockets are great especially the big main hand warmer pockets. All in all I am happy with the purchase, however I would not pay full price for it but if you can grab it $300 or less its a good piece, for $400 you could probably do better. I plan to use it on sub 20* F days. I didn't want a coat I had to wear a bunch of other layers with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! It does not extend to the light down jacket, and light to the split of the size and texture. warm....

Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! I went straight to the horse's mouth for this one, got the deets direct from Mountain Hardwear. Talked to big Matty-Matt there, and he tells me that this jacket has a fill weight of 257 g. Hope this helped you out!
