The Mountain Hardwear Men's DryRunner Jacket is a wind breaker for the gray and cloudy running days. The DryRunner is wind- and water-resistant to keep you comfortable during training on the trail and road. The Apparition Wind Shell polyester fabric blocks the wind and a durable water repellent finish repels a light rain. The Wick.Q EVAP panels at the underarms and lower back wick moisture away from your skin and dries it out quickly so you stay cool and comfortable. A short collar stands up against your neck with a zipper garage so you won’t catch your chin when zipping up in a hurry. The reflective bits help keep you visible in low-light situations along the road.

Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. It's cute to think of a fabric as being afraid of water. Now if only they could make a bearphobic coating. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Jacket The jacket is stitched well and seems to be build to last. The material is not the typical gore type backed water proofing. Instead, it is softer and not as rubbery. I think it will last longer than the other style (like a Northface shell) where that coating would wear away, but I can't comment from experience as the jacket is relatively new for me.,,,,The fit is good. I am 5'10" and 16X. It is not loose, but not overly tight. The sleeves are nice and long--an issue with a lot of mediums for me. The zipper isn't the biggest and it is a bit funky, so I hope that works out in time as it is more used and worn down a bit.,,,,Running in the 30's with this and some sort of core level seems fine. However, I run hard and warm up inside on a treadmill before hitting a 7 or half marathon loop.,,,,One complaint is that the jacket, though factory sealed, had a small stain on one arm.
