I ordered this jacket for the hubs after ordering a Mountain Hardware coat for myself and LOVING IT. This coat unfortunately was a non-starter. My husband is a very average/athletic shaped 6ft tall guy and the large (his usual size) was enormous and had no shape, the hood was also enormous, but we both have smallish head, so that could explain that.Upside, it did seem like it would be nice and toasty, if it fit, as it was wind would go right up it!Bottom line, its back in the box on a fed ex truck somewhere. But definitely Check out the ladies Citilicious...that's an awesome coat!
This "coat" is great for walking around the city. I've had it for 5 days now and it is certainly warm enough for a Winnipeg winter, and that says a lot! (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/winnipeg-deep-freeze-as-cold-as-uninhabited-planet-1.2479967) Walked the dog this morning in -42˚C with a fleece underneath the jacket and it kept warm. The jacket is long (about mid thigh length, I'm also very short) and this adds to its warmth. Hand pockets are fleece lined and hood is insulated, which makes the jacket wearable with only t-shirt and no gloves or hat (if it's say about -20˚C). There are no cinch cords to make the jacket slimmer. I guess they left that out in this version of the coat.
