The belt loops are awkwardly placed for holding my keys. Other than that these are great pants. Never fear ripping them executing a superfluous heal hook for the observing hikers. Long enough for a tall guy like me. DEEP Pockets (you'll be thankful when your buddy drops his phone halfway through a route).
Comfortable pants for climbing. Long enough for a tall guy like me and flexible enough for any route. The built in belt was annoying at first, but not having an extra belt in addition to my harness is nice. The belt loops are spars and awkwardly placed if you use them for your keys.
These pants are pretty great they are durable as well as look good. they run a bit baggier than I Iike but give you great mobility to crush. I'm 6' and wear a 32x30 and their sizes are true. Also a great addition is the reinforced belt loop, I always rip those
I am an average sized guy and have always worn a 32x32...well these pants definitly run SMALL in the waist and butt...I could barley get them on...I will be returning them to see if the next size up is in stock.Other than running small, they are a high quality pant....what you would expect from mountain hardware....the material is very thick and I would expect them to be very warm...if you can get them over your butt ;-)
"Nice pants, prompted some sexual harassment at the workplace"
First thing- measure your waist where your pants sit. Order that size, NOT your jean size. I wear size 32 jeans, and after retuning some size 33s I fit into a pair of 36 longs. I am 6'1 190lb. The length on the longs is acceptable for going out, but short enough to not get caught on climbing shoes when throwing a straight leg up for a heel hook. I'll have to wear them a few more times before I decide to order more, but since these are one of the few pants that come in "longs" that I can wear to the wall and to work, might be my go-to pant. Made in India, if that matters to anyone.
