"Good casual jacket but not for long sleeve shirts" 02/11/12
Was looking for a casual jacket that was not made entirely from plastic. I liked the fact that the outer shell was canvas - sort of unusual nowadays. Fit was a bit strange for me - I am 5' 8" 155 lbs. and usually wear medium. The medium that I got here had a snug fit - tighter in the chest and shoulder area. I usually wear button down shirts to work, but the collar in this jacket was not suitable for this combination (perhaps better for t-shirts, or collarless shirts). The wrist warmer cuffs were a nice touch, but again, it made it hard to put the jacket on with a long sleeve shirt.On the positive side, the jacket appeared to be well made - and had some heft to it.
"Great Casual Jacket !!" 01/13/12
I was looking for a really nice casual jacket that I could wear out in public and this jacket is perfect! It is way warmer then I thought it was going to be when I bought it which is a huge plus. I absolutely love the how the sleeves have a wind protector built in at the wrist to keep cold air from rushing up your arm such a great idea. The big cargo pockets on the front of the jacket are kinda pointless because if you decide to put anything in them they get really bulky but not a deal breaker. Over all a well made jacket as all Mountain Hardwear products are.
