"Lightweight packable warm"  01/23/12

This jacket is perfect for Canadian winters under a shell. On its own, your good until a bit below freezing.I use this under an Arc'Teryx Stingray shell for skiing in cold Canadian mountains. You would likely not want to wear this for a more physical activity such as snowshoeing. This fit is slim like most Mountain Hardwear. Quality is A1.This is comparable to the NorthFace Redpoint

"Warm and very comfortable but material could be thicker and more tear resistant."  12/13/11

I spend alot of time walking through wooded areas. This jacket seems like it would not hold up well in a twig snag situation. I loved the comfort level and fit. The jacket is also warm but I don't think it would stand up well against high winds and very low temperatures. It would make a good and warm under layer that you could eaily pack away when you don't need the extra insulation.

"Just what I needed"  11/10/11

Have owned this for nearly a year. Fit is perfect. I have used this hiking/backpacking year-round. Synthetic fill so it is a natural for the shoulder seasons in mixed precipitation. in the northern climes.
