"Solid jacket from Mountain Hardwear"  05/09/12

This is my first purchase of anything made by MH, and I will now be a regular customer of their stuff. Yeah, it keeps the rain off for hours and is super-breathable, and has taped zippers and all the usual gadgetry you'd expect of a technical rain coat, but it also LOOKS GOOD. Can't say that about too many brands out there, going for the function-before-form theme. I'm 5'11", 225 and the XL fit's perfectly. Hood is a little large, but you can use the drawstring. Bonus: not made in China (Thailand).

"Best low priced rain shell on the market!"  04/26/12

I bought this rain shell, looking for a lightweight, breathable shell that I could layer underneath for rainy backpacking trips and as well as on the golf course. So far this jacket has proven to be bomb proof! I've been in some heavy rain and it keeps me completely dry and also is very wind resistant. I am 6' and around 235lbs. and the XL fits perfect. I have just enough room for a fleece or sweater underneath and I could not be happier with my purchase. Moosejaw had the best price on the internet as well! Thanks!

"Mountain Hardware lives up to their reputation again"  03/23/12

Great jacket. Very light weight rain jacket for backpacking or a top layer for skiing. Other than knowing that mountain hardware just sells a quality product (my 4th MH jacket, yes I am still using them all for different activities and times of the year), one of the big selling points was also the pitzips. Looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this jacket. I am 6'1 and 185 lbs and the XL was perfect for me and still roomy enough to layer underneath.

"The hood is massive!"  02/24/12

I really wanted to like this rain jacket. I liked the fabric, the cut of the body and arms, the features...but the hood is absolutely massive. I can't understand how it got through product design the way it did. I am a 6'1", 240 lb guy and I have worn a lot of outdoor clothing but I have never worn anything with a hood as awkwardly huge as on this jacket. It would be too big with a helmet on. There is a neat adjustment feature on the back of the hood but it couldn't do enough to scrunch this down to normal size. I am sending it back.

"Superb rain coat"  01/30/12

I purchased this jacket specifically as a rain coat, very comfortable with excellent ventilation makes even a rainy day better. And the jacket really does stretch which makes it even better if your going to be exposed to the rain all day. Some features that I liked was how that the zippers have a special coating on them and if you don't like hoods then you can use the Velcro piece so that the hood isn't even noticeable.

"AS WATERTIGHT AS THE TITANIC..NOT"  01/24/12

No really this is a great jacket. It breathes well, lets no water in and keeps you look good in the worst weather. Very pleased.

"good rain jacket"  12/02/11

I love this item that is used by stretch material. I have arcteryx and patagonia jacket, but I mainly use this jacket because it is very comfortable and good ventilated. I would recommend this item.

"Light and fit"  11/18/11

I like Mountain Hardware clothes. I like it's style and quality. I have a similar cloth which bought 3 years before. This one is more light and fit me. I am 6' and 175bl. I bought a Medium one. My wife said the green one make me younger. Strongly recommend

"Minimalist jacket packed with technical features and looks good for out on the town too."  08/06/11

This trim fit stretch rain jacket is unique and well made. I like the stiff brim of the hood and the hood stores nicely when not desired. Arms are good length. Pit zips add to the breathability. I love the red. A medium fits me perfectly 6'1 158 15 1/2 neck and 40" chest.

"Excellent light weight shell"  06/16/11

I have worn this jacket on two trips to date, both of which were very rainy. The jacket kept me very dry but still breathed well. The fit seem about right and I am 6'3", 245 lb. The construction seems very good altough I am a bit nervous about the reviews of the Cohesion Jacket that indicate the interior coating peels after an extended time.
