Mountain Hardwear also uses Pitch Light configuration on this 2 person tent to allow the user to set up a super-light, warmer weather shelter using only the tent fly, poles, and footprint pieces without the Light Wedge tent itself. Using Atlas 7001 poles and the Proprietary Evolution Tension Arch, the Light Wedge 2 is strong, lightweight, and extremely stable, and the reflective guy-out loops, starter points, and zipper pulls makes for easy set-up, even at night. Mountain Hardwear's patented tension shelf adds extra support for the vestibule poles and gives an extra storage option, and the large dry entry vestibule with strong aluminum brow pole provides generous head room.
