"Tight" 05/04/12
Nice bag, compresses nicely, but ...yep... but, I'm 6ft and 200lbs and it's a tight squeeze. not much room for rolling over. But size does matter, i was able to put it in the bottom of my pack easily which accounts for a lot. I'm looking for a bag now that may be a bit wider.
"Would reccommend it to a friend" 04/29/11
Just took this bag out on a backpacking trip in Manistee National Forest. The whole time I was there it was cold and rainy, in the nightime it got down to right around 35 degrees. I stayed warm and cozy in this bag, and I wasn't even wearing any clothes! Most everybody else I was with complained that they got cold at night except for my buddy who also has this bag. Even though I got damp, this bag kept the warmth in. It is very lofty, and super compressible. I'm close to 6 feet tall and had no problems fitting in the regular sized bag. Overall this is a great product, by far my favorite sleeping bag.
"this bag is the bottom line, it doesnt get much better" 08/31/10
This is a kickin bag! It took me forever to find a bag that works for me. I'm 6 ft. 1in. so I'm in that height range that no one makes a bag for. This bag is a perfect fit for me, its snug to prevent heat loss but still roomy. The foot box is great and the zipper system works well to prevent snags. The drawcord system for your head works well and doesnt loosen up overnight. The included compression sack is great, you can stuff this bag down to about the size of a small pumpkin. Only downside is depending on your sleeping pad the bag can slide some if your on an incline. Otherwise this bag is tops, highly recommend!
"Great for Great Lakes spring weather" 04/29/10
I got this bag for some camping in the Chicago area in the spring. What I couldn't foresee is my apartment's furnace breaking and my landlord deciding that it didn't need to get fixed until September. Thank goodness because now I can still be warm even though that bastard decided I didn't need heat until the fall.Anyway I'm 6' 185 and the regular was a great fit. You don't want bags to be to big because you'd be heating extra space. This bag is my 'go to' for the next couple of months.
