MOUNTAIN HARDWEAR PACK FIT GUIDE and INFO

• Determine the correct pack size by measuring from the top of your hip shelf to the C7 vertebrae, which is the protruding bump at the base of the neck.

• If you think you are between pack sizes, consider how and when you will be using the pack. For example, if you will be using the pack primarily in the winter, when more and bulkier clothing is required, you may opt to size up.

• You can find Torso Range and other size information in the description FEATURES or SPECIFICATIONS for each Mountain Hardwear pack. You can also refer to the size guide below to compare the current season packs by category.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Zipper keeps getting stuck Moosejaw had a great sale on this bag, and Mountain Hardwear is a great brand, so I sprung for the Lamina 20F Sleeping Bag. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the zipper. The over lapping nylon "tape" over the zipper on the inside was the problem. I had to crawl down into the bag with my headlight and glasses to figure out what was jamming it. Then I'd have to pull the zipper pull up and down and try to keep the "tape" out of the zipper. Finally I trimmed the overlapping "tape". The "tape" raveled out, but seems to not be a problem. The zipper now works fine, no Jamming! Now I really like this sleeping bag. Temperature wise, it seems to be accurately labeled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One great bag! For the price this is unbeatable. I am a woman, but I got the man's bag because it offered a little more shoulder room than the woman's I found this to be more comfortable. I am also able to actually get this bag down to almost the size of a down bag using a compression sack. It comes with a compression sack, but I use a lighter one that I can make smaller. I have found it to be very comfortable. I have only used it during the summer months, but I tend to get cold easily and never once was I chilled while using this bag. This bag has proven itself to me and has been my heaven after a long days hike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag for the price! This bag kept me warm on a recent backpacking trip. The lowest temperature was only 39 but I have no doubt that it would be comfortable intro the 20s with a good sleeping pad and base layers. The draft collar works great. I'm 5'10" and the regular was the perfect size. It easily packs into the provided stuff sack and is pretty light. If you can't spring for a down bag, you won't go wrong by selecting the lamina 20F. My only complaint is that the zipper gets caught in the zipper guards but being careful will help take care of this issue. Overall, it is an awesome synthetic bag!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from high quality, comfortable, inexpensive, packs down to a little bigger than a nalgene... I was originally looking at a Big Agnes Gunn Creek, but then was shown this at our local shop, it just seemed like a better idea for the money, no specialized pad that costs another $100, and no extra $30 on a compression sack, as the lamina comes with both a mesh storage sack, as well as a compression sack. When all tightened down, the pack takes just a little more room than a nalgene, and weighs just a little more than a full one. Overall, if your looking for a great deal, with everything ready to throw in your pack, get this bag, you wont go cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing mummy without the constriction of a normal mummy bag I took this bag through 230 miles of the AT from March to April and it worked out impressively well. Its the first mummy bag I have bought and i was worried about how constricting the movement would be compared to my old bag which was rectangular. I am 6'1 and 210 yet still had plenty of room to move around and turn in the night. I was debating between this and The North Face's Cats Meow. This was slightly heavier but well worth it. Highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a new 20 degree synthetic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from feels nice! havn't used this in the worst conditions, being down it is able to be an issues when it gets wet but ive been banking on it staying dry. packs down well and come with a compression sack which is a great addition, also a sweet expanded sack for when your storing it so its not compressed. warm enough when its in a tent in a alpine but to be honest i was expecting it to be a bit warmer but hey i havn;t been cold in it yet so might be real sweet but unable to say. happy over all,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sleeping Bag I bought this for my boyfriend. He said it was warm enough for temps around freezing but definitely too warm to use inside. He hasn't tried it for temps below freezing. He loved the draft collar thing inside by his shoulders because it helped keep the heat from escaping. It compresses pretty small too with the included compression sack. I am very glad I bought it for him.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag. So, I bought a pair of these for the GF and myself. Fantastic bag for the price, comes with storage and compression sacks. 1 complaint: We camp mostly summer, and being used to other manufacturers temp ratings I bought 20deg bags... these bags are INCREDIBLY warm by comparison... I just picked up a pair of the 45deg bags so I can actually sleep in it during the summer.
