MOUNTAIN HARDWEAR PACK FIT GUIDE and INFO

• Determine the correct pack size by measuring from the top of your hip shelf to the C7 vertebrae, which is the protruding bump at the base of the neck.

• If you think you are between pack sizes, consider how and when you will be using the pack. For example, if you will be using the pack primarily in the winter, when more and bulkier clothing is required, you may opt to size up.

• You can find Torso Range and other size information in the description FEATURES or SPECIFICATIONS for each Mountain Hardwear pack. You can also refer to the size guide below to compare the current season packs by category.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm and Light This probably weighs a pound less, and stuffs smaller than my old 15 degree. I got the regular size reading that it was 78" tall I'm 6'1" and I don't think I'd be comfortable if I was any taller. I had plenty of room to wiggle around and get comfy. The draft collar works very well.,,,,This bag comes with a mesh storage sack and a compression stuff sack. That was nice since I was worrying about what size compression sack to buy. ,,,,My only complaint with the bag is the zipper. It's got some rigid fabric on the inside to create a "no-snag" zipper. Well this just fails and I think i struggled with that more than anything else.,,,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bag for pretty much anything Had this bag for quite a while now and have taken it down to 0 three or four times, and it worked well every time. The draft collar worked perfectly, its a little tricky when your in the bag but it's not too bad. I'm 6' and got the regular which fits great but if your any taller might want to go with the long. With the compression bag they give you, you can pretty easily stuff it down to about 8" diameter and around 12" long. If your planning on using this regularly around zero degree temperatures though I'ld probably say go with something just a little warmer like the -15 version just for the added protection and comfort.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saved my Life!!! I loved this bag with all of its little bells and whistles, a nice pocket for your chap stick on the outside. a compartment near your ear for a watch with an alarm, and A special touch for me I love having the Zip up on the left side. The bag worked great and kept warm or two warm for 20 days in the north Cascades in May. The only down side is that the mummy draw strings get caught inside from time to time, and the zipper catches a little two much when you are trying to scramble out of your tent to find a tree at 3:00am. In general I have always had qualms with Mountain Hardware's zippers they are not very reliable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm, dries fast, but the zipper needs work. I used this bag for a month long backpacking trip in the Canyonlands of Utah. It went through a whole lot and stayed in one piece with little wear and tear. It gets pretty darn small with a good compression sack, and is pretty light. Anyway, it kept me warm on the coldest of my nights (about 20 F). It dries fairly quickly, given there's sunlight to dry in, but the inside never got wet. There's a great pocket on the inside if you want to take your watch off and still have an alarm set within hearing distance. The only problem was, yes, the zipper. I'll admit my group neglected to set up a fly for the night and got caught in the rain at midnight. So, I was the one struggling with a zipper for a good minute while my friends set up the shelter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bag is AWESOME!! I recently went backpacking in the Kenai mountains, and I brought this bag along with me for the first time after ordering it from the best outdoor website, moosejaw.com. The bag weighs just over 3 lbs (which is nothing to any strong backpacker) and is extremely warm. The average temperature in the valley that I camped in was about -5 to 5 degrees Fahrenheit every night. I slept in an underarmour shirt and compression shorts and woke up warm every morning. THIS BAG IS THE BOMB!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very light and very warm. Perfect sleeping bag for travelers who want to save on space and weight. I bought this sleeping bag last winter. This one is perfect for anyone looking for a light weight, but super warm sleeping bag. Surprising how small it packs in the stuff sack provided.,,I have this bag put aside for my friends and guests who show up without warning and need to stay a night or two. All who have used it so far have said it was very warm and that they were able to sleep well. ,,This is one sleeping bag that I can strongly recommend to my friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This bag kept me comfortable and warm in June at all altitudes on Mt. Rainier! Props! I climbed Mt. Rainier in June, and this bag did the job well. It was light and compact enough to hike up the mountain, and I didn't experience one night where I was chill while sleeping in the bag even though the temperatures fluctuated into really cold overnight lows.,,,,If anything, I am 6'0", and might suggest the longer version of this bag for someone my height.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight and Warm This is a fantastic sleeping bag. It's lightweight, incredibly toasty, and I fit into it perfectly. My only complaint is that it's a little bulky, even in the stuff sack. If your bag isn't big enough, it can be a little tough to get into the sleeping bag compartment, but this is a minor complaint when considering all the benefits of this bag.
