I've had this pack for about a year now and it is great! I use it for day hiking trips and for weekend cabin trips. It is big enough to hold a couple large water bottles, a change of clothes or two, snacks, and other essentials. Its definitely not big enough for any serious backpacking though. I love all of the random pockets, especially the hip belt pockets- perfect for holding cell phones, wallets, or anything that you may need immediate access to. The pack itself is very comfortable, there is a good amount of padding on the back. The random tool loops/ice axe loops are pretty extraneous and kind of hang down and can kind of get in the way if you're not using the pack for climbing. I haven't used the pocket for holding a water bladder yet, but this pack would definitely be perfect for something like adventure racing because of the water bladder capability. Too big for mountain biking or running in my opinion though.
