The Men's Epic Glove by Mountain Hardwear is a waterproof, breathable glove for all backcountry sports, with OutDry Waterproof Technology. They bonded a waterproof, breathable OutDry membrane to a tough nylon shell fabric, sealing out water, wind, and cold. Seamless fingertips and an articulated cut for excellent dexterity.

"Waterproof and windproof and will keep your hands warm in moderately cold weather." 04/01/12
I'm a 3-season day-hiker and was looking for a lightweight W-B glove that would keep my hands warm when the weather got bad and these gloves fit the bill perfectly. Mountain Hardwear products are always high-quality and you can't go wrong with these gloves. I am very satisfied with my purchase!
"Not very warm" 09/03/11
I bought these gloves because they were waterproof and windproof, which they are, but the tricot lining that was supposed to keep my hands warm failed. I have found good use for them now and that is I use them when it's raining and I'm riding my mountain bike. Just don't use them in low 40 degree temperatures because your hands won't stay warm.

When I saw this stylish and BA glove, I thought, damn, let's do it up. I bought the glove on a Monday. I had them out x-skiing once that week, and immediately noted that the liner was about a quarter inch shorter than the shell, an annoying oversight. I let it slide, thinking I was just being a prude. I wore them a few times to work and they kept out the cold on long winter runs. The H2O proofness seems sound. The wind? What wind? MHW is so detail oriented with all of their gear that the dexterity loss in these was really disappointing. If you want a glove that keeps the elements at bay and allows you to steer your tractor...great glove, just don't try any hand jams or fiddle playin...
