"It's a Good TWO PERSON Tent But Overpriced for no Footprint"
This tent held up well in the early spring for my trip out to the Grand Canyon. I refused to pay extra money for the footprint but I probably should have. The tent was very light and was easy to setup. It was bone dry on the inside despite a few showers we encountered. There is NO WAY it is a three person tent. Maybe three children but there's no way you can fit three grown adults in this thing. The large doors are nice. Just buy it. It's not bad.
This tent just simply rocks! I got it for an amazing price (silly last year's color!) and can't be more pleased! Will it had the footprint included but I would buy it again and again because it's that great! No problem with rain or wind! Tried it out the first time in the backyard with my 2 year old prior to a trip and it poured but guess what, we were dry and happy! Wish I could grab a second one because it's that awesome!
We read a lot of reviews of comparable 3 person/2 vestibule tents before deciding on this one. We have used this tent on several summer/fall canoe trips where we experienced a lot of rainy, windy weather. The tent has kept us warm and dry, and there is plenty of room inside for the two of us, plus our stuff. The one complaint that we have about this tent is that the vestibule doors are angled in such a way that water sitting on the outside of the fly drips into the tent when you open the vestibule in wet weather. This is annoying, but otherwise we think the tent has been a quality buy.
