I bought this tent looking for a light weight, but sturdy option, and I found it in this tent. Unintentionally, my first use was in the snow, and it kept us incredibly warm (down to 20 degrees F). It keeps us entirely dry in the rain, and had no issues with it (plus there's a guarantee that it keeps you dry). With the rain fly off, it's great and makes you feel you are lying under the stars. The poles are lightweight, but be careful you don't pull too hard as they can bend when fully constructed. Additionally, I found that with the rain fly on, condensation can build up inside the tent in colder temperatures. I would also recommend the footprint, as the material is extremely thin for the floor. There is great space for gear under the rain fly, and is surprisingly roomy even with 2 people packed in the interior. While it is not the lightest tent on the market, the size of the pack is very small and overall it is a great tent for the weight. Highly recommended.
"I love this tent! High winds/Heavy rain- NO PROBLEM!"

I purchased this tent for hiking and camping with my girlfriend. I have used it probably 20 times in many different conditions. I live in Oklahoma, and anybody who lives here knows the weather can change 100 degrees in a weeks time and be sunny one day and hailing the next. With that being said, I have been caught off guard a few times while camping and have never gotten wet or had high winds (and I mean high enough to flex the tent flush against my body while laying inside) damage or take down the tent. I love it. Its spacier than I expected although I wouldn't recommend camping with someone you don't want to be close to.
