"Nice bag, but it doesn't seal shut"  12/20/10

If all you're looking for is an overbag, this will fill the bill nicely. But if you're looking to get through some serious weather without taking on water, I'm not sure how well this will do, as the top does not zip shut, it's got a cinch cord. Nice for ventilation, but my sophisticated sprinkler test had some water getting in unless I slept with the bag upside down (good bye, ventilation).

"Excellent for ultralight protection"  03/05/10

Bought this several years ago when it was called the "Stormlight Bivy" (they had to change the name for some copyright issue). Superlight and packable, provides good protection against external moisture, dew, drizzle, etc. I always take this in lieu of a tent in the excellent dry summer weather we get in the Sierras. And always prefer sleeping under the stars as opposed to under a nylon canopy. Recommend it!
