First off, the removable harness is very comfortable. The horizontal 'v' on the hip pad allows it to curve nicely. It has an inner sleeve for a water bladder. I like that the compression straps have a slot where the excess ends can be neatly stowed away. The inside separator is easy to undo (make the bag one large internal space). With the lid removed, the closure of the top of the bag is very good. It will stay easily dry. The back length is non-adjustable so make sure to get the correct size. I went with size medium and it was the perfect size. Besides these points, it is just another well thought bag. I like mine to be durable and comfortable. This fits the criteria perfectly.
"super big, no extra weight from useless pockets"

i love this bag, i went on a day hike but loaded it for 3, just to break her in. rides extremely well, its simple design is perfect for people like me who have everything in dry bags. i like being able to take out my "pockets". sturdy waist-belt , good stitching, well all i have to say is mountain hardware. if you have to have 100 pockets in your bag then this is not the bag for you.
This pack is extremely large without a cumbersome number of pockets. The lack of pockets forces you to pack efficiently. The gear loops on the outside and the tool attachments are fantastic! My only complaint is that the straps are a little on the narrow side which can dig in if not properly adjusted. All in all, great pack
Big ass bag, lots of room, but not as big as you would think. I have a Kelty 5600 and was expecting this to be MUCH larger. It IS bigger, but does not have all the compartments, so you just throw all your crap in the middle, or top pockets. I returned it for Kelty Eagle 120. I hate digging through all my stuff for 1 last minute item. Good Quality, pretty light, comfortable. If you dont want to many pockets, go for it
