"Moosejaw just could not pull off the email gift card"

I ordered the gift card online Monday AM for a Tuesday birthday gift. By Tuesday afternoon it had not arrived so I did an online chat. The person nicely appologized and assured me it would go right away, I would get an email confirm and to call back if I did not.I did not so I called back Wed PM. This time the person struggled to understand the problem and was unable to send the gift card to either me or the Birthday Girl. She offered to send an email to the service dept. I really needed resolution not another delay. She finally read the card number off to me so I could email it to her! Nice touch.Generally I am a huge Moosejaw fan. This is puzzling

"Purchase site is all messed up!"

I wanted to use VISA gift cards for a hefty purchase, called cutomer service (after being on hold with the "liveperson" for an unreal amount of time) & was told the only way to do this purchase was to buy a Moosejaw gift card, then apply the other credit card for the remaining balance. I was on hold (again, forever) while the service tried to purchase the gc (as I told them it wasn't working online). The gc could not be purchased. It's an "e-card" the "e" part is not working. Customer service took down my VISA gc numbers, phone number, as well as the product numbers I wanted to purchase, then said they'd call me back.. never did. They have to get on this ASAP!! It's buying season!

I ordered a gift card for x-mass on 12/20; order was cancelled without any notification. When I called customer service, they told me the gift card was a promotional item and there was nothing they can do about it. They didn't offer any other options, just to go back and look in their website. The website provides an extremely poor description of the product. I’m not too thrilled with the experience; this was supposed to be a present for my brother in law. Needless to say I looked like an ass x-mass night and the only thing I got from the rep was "nothing we can do about it, go back to our website". At the end of the day it should be all about the customer experience.
