The Moosejaw Women's Jamie Rellis Zip Hoody is one of our favorite midweight hoodys that's warm but easy to layer when the temperatures drop. The rouched pockets and long length is super flattering, even if you just wear it sitting on your couch, at home, alone. My dog knocked the back cushion off the couch and threw up down that crevice behind the seat cushion. Very impressive and inconvenient. He must have seen me do that one night when he was a puppy. Puppies are really impressionable and you’ve got to be really careful about where you throw up around them.
I am extremely picky when it comes to hoodies because I've wasted so much money on total junk that never seems to last. The biggest challenge is finding a hoodie that will not shorten every time it goes through the dryer. This hoodie is perfect because it's a longer length, and the quality of the durable fabric is wonderful. There is a nice stretch, and it is very flattering. I love wearing hoodies, but sometimes I feel like I look sloppy in them. This one is great because you can dress it up and feel pretty while still being totally comfy. I ordered it in 2 colors, and I'm really hoping Moosejaw continues making these. It looks as though there aren't many left, and I would love to rely on these in the future. NorthFace and Patagonia can't compete with the price and quality of these hoodies! Did I mention, thumb holes??? Great touch!
I really like this hoody. It is a great length, it is a little long and hits right below the hips. I love the thumb holes on the sleeves and the pockets in front give both it a little more style than a regular hoody. I bought black and love the pink (Moosejaw) text on the bottom of it. I get a lot of compliments on it when I wear it out. It is more tailored than a sweatshirt but more casual than a cardigan, so it's a good combination. It is lighter in weight than a sweatshirt but still gives you an extra layer than just a t-shirt.
I'm a Nurse and I bought 2 of these in black! One to wear at work and one to wear at home. They are AWESOME! So awesome that I bought one in Gray too which is also fabulous. I'm no hiker/biker but I love the hoodie and Moosejaw.com. I want them to come out with more colors in this hoodie so I can buy each color! Biggest fan of this hoodie. I'm a tall lady and the size runs a bit big but is long just the way I like it! A long fit, but not too long, definitely layerable!
I absolutely love this hoodie. It's long but I like it long so that it covers the ole rump! I'm 5'8" and it's long on me so I would not suggest this hoodie for shorter girls. The thumb holes just add to the awesomeness of this lightweight sweatshirt. The length and the ruched pockets are very slimming. My only complaint is that it is not offered in more colors. A navy or red would be darling.
I absolutely love this hoodie. I'm 5'8" and it's long but I like it long so it covers the ole rump, especially if I'm wearing leggings or skinny jeans. Super casual and the thumb holes are always a plus! My only complaint is that the hoodie isn't offered in more colors. I'd love to see it in red or navy.
I got this to replace my old black cardigan/hoody that had holes in it. I wear my black hoody almost everyday as a layering piece and to keep me warm because my husband turns the heat down too low. Cheapskate. Anyway, I LOVE the longer length of the Moosejaw hoody that covers my butt and keeps me from exposing myself when I wear my low-rider jeans and bend down to pick something up. I also love the feminine gathers around the front pockets. It is a perfect thickness and anything with thumbloops is spectacular! I love it so much I just bought a second one because I lost the first one...
sorry Bolton fans, not more than love inside. I soooo wanted to love this hoody... I loved the arm length (I am of the monkey-armed population), which actually let me use the thumb-holes... and did I mention THUMB-HOLES?? big plus... anyway it also has a nice contour at the waist and the ruched pockets are a nice finishing touch... but this is where they should have stopped... the elastic waist band is 6 inches wide and lands right across the widest part of your hips... which makes you look like you have wide rectangular hips... cut half off to a normal sweatshirt band, it'd be fine... commit to the length and go mid-thigh, that would do it too... but as is, rectangle butt.
