The Moosejaw Women's Mt. Elliott Insulated Waterproof Pant is a waterproof pant for spending winter out of doors. The 100% waterproof/breathable fabric keeps you dry, regardless of whether it's raining or snowing. Take a knee as you rest, sit your butt down to buckle your snowboard straps, or even take a fall (gracefully, of course). The internal boot gaiters keep snow out and the vents at the outer thigh cool you down when you get too hot. Don't worry, there's 40g of insulation packed throughout too, adding a touch of warmth for the super cold days.

Hi looking at your insulated pants was wondering do you know at what degree temperature wise these will keep you warm. Example. -20 degrees?
Asked by: Becky99
Hiya, thanks for your question! Most insulated snow jackets and pants are not temperature rated because "warm" is a subjective sensation that each of us feel differently. Also, an item rated to be warm at a given temperature in dry, still air isn’t likely to keep you as warm that same temperature in wet or windy conditions.
Common synthetic fill weights range from 40 to 120 grams. 40 grams of insulation is on the light side, however, it is a good option for active snowsports, like winter hiking, or snowboarding. Otherwise, 40 grams should keep you warm in 32°F weather.
Hope you helps!
