I am 5'9" and usually wear a women's size 12. I bought this hoody in XL and it fits really well. It's roomy enough to be perfect for layering, but it still looks nice (not too baggy). The sleeves are long too, which is a huge plus because most women's clothes are too short for me. I've never bought anything with sherpa lining before, and I thought it would be a little softer, but I bet it will be great for cold nights camping. The biggest drawback is that this hoody fits my boyfriend really well too, and he keeps stealing it from me.
I wear this out at bus duty in wind, light rain, and cold weather. I stay dry, warm (hot if you ask my boyfriend), and retain the title of coolest bus duty person ever. The best part about this sweatshirt is that after 5 washes/drys it has not shrunk one bit - the sleeves remain long and the body has not drawn up at all.
I purchased this hoody for my wife for Christmas. It seems to be one of three or four pieces of clothing that she always reaches for. The sizing is spot on. It launders especially well also, which is sometimes an issue with sweatshirts. The interior is soft and comfortable but it doesn't constantly leave fuzz on whatever you may have on underneath. Great length in the arms and at the waist to avoid exposure and gapping. She has noticed some issues with the zipper binding, but nothing that capstick or a soapbar can't fix.
I really like this sweatshirt, but there is a few things i would change. I wish it was more fleecey on the inside, it would make it warmer. But it is still a very cute, comfortable sweatshirt. I got the grey color with pink words and its super cute! Plus the fit of the hoody is not super baggy- good for women- but not too tight that you can't move around comfortably. I would highly recommend this hoody!
