The Moosejaw Women's Danielle Schaffer Hybrid Jacket was another pure experiment. And we think it turned out pretty kick ass. We paired an insulated 80-weight Primaloft torso with a heavier 4-way stretch softshell side panels and arms. This one is meant to be perfect for chilly days around town or down right cold days on the trail. The cuffs are made with thumbholes for when movement is important and you can't deal with cold wrists. Plus it has a slim fit to make you look more like a chick and less like a snowman. The intern that sits across from me is telling me about the novel he's writing about a left-handed serial killer who does Brazilian Jui-Jistu. I can't remember his name and so whenever I need to get his attention I have to say something like "Hey Dude" really loud in his direction. It's so embarrassing and if I don't figure out his name soon, I'm just going to quit. Email margo@moosejaw.com what you had for lunch. We'll throw 234 points your way.

I'm usually an XS, but the Small fits perfect, so don't be afraid it will be too big. This jacket is silky soft inside and out!The pockets are fleece lined and feel amazing and warm! The zippers move like butter. The sleeves are a great length, so even if you don't use the monkey thumb holes the sleeves will stay down at a perfect length as well as them being stretchy so you can move your arms around. I love the interior tech pocket and threading for a headphone chord, makes running errands more please. It is a perfect light-weight jacket that is super flattering, super cute, and super functional! I got the grey with the pink trim, so I can wear it with almost every! Love it!
LOVE this jacket! The shape is great - it's not boxy like so many other jackets I've tried on and the length is nice. I'm 5'8", 130ish, and a M fits like a glove. It's also surprisingly warm and blocks the wind well. The sleeves are nice and long and the thumbholes are a nice feature.
Can't get enough of this jacket since I received it! I ordered it in the castle rock/caviar. I also kept reading that as castle rock/cadaver which I found very entertaining. Much warmer than you might think because it's so light weight. Have gotten compliments every time I wear it.
"I love this jacket more than words can express..."

I just received my jacket and tried it on. As promised, it makes you look like a chick instead of a snowman. I absolutely love the material of the sleeves and the weight is perfect. I am thinking about buying another one in the other color! P.S. I love the thumbholes.
I saw this jacket in the most recent moosejaw catalog and loved how it looked on the model so I had to try it. I'm constantly looking for those in between weather type jackets for the cold, damp San Francisco weather. I was apprehensive at how pink the accents would be, but thought I'd give it a try. It didn't disappoint! The fit was perfect, it is super flattering because it fits a little snugger at the waist, and the sleeves and jacket length are long enough. Bottom line, accents not too pink, fits well, cozy, comfortable, flattering, perfect for chilly or rainy/damp days. It's a keeper. I'm 5'9"/137 lbs and I ordered a medium and it was just right.
"Warm enough for November weather and for surviving the freezing cold hockey arenas"

A good universal jacket for errands, November bike rides and hikes through the woods. A note on sizing: I am 5'2" / 125 lbs and usually wear a medium, but bought a large in this jacket. The fit through the hips in the medium was too snug for my liking for wearing it over my usual November-March jeans+long underwear combitation. But by going up a size, the sleeves are really a good length for riding my mountain bike, and there is room under the jacket for a sweatshirt or a fleece. And since starting to wear this jacket, I haven't turned into a popsicle while watching hockey at our local freezing cold arenas!
This jacket is everything it claims to be! I received my new gem yesterday afternoon and fell in love with it the moment I opened the package.I was so enthused to try this baby out, the dog and I hit the trails an hour later. It was a windy, 40 degree Michigan day and this jacket made me one happy girl. The fit is absolutely perfect, my wrists are always covered ( I HATE too short of sleeves) the jacket is not bulky what-so-ever. This is a very versatile jacket, which is exactly what i was looking for, I can wear it out around town and then to the woods.Any woman looking to stay sexy, comfy and warm for the late fall outdoor season needs to purchase this jacket, asap
This jacket is divine.LOVE: softshell arms & sidepanel = huge range of motionthumbholes keep the jacket in place while commutinghood fits over a climbing helmetfuzzy hand pocketsextra toasty insulation on the backDETAILS: The pink is darker, a tad purple, than the light pink shown here. FIT: The jacket curves to the body so you can keep your waist and your boobs. Only downside is my climbing forearms/biceps max out the sleeves when my arms are bent.5'5" 150# with a positive ape index and the Medium fits wonderfully. My taller/skinnier/flatter friend (5'9"? 150#) bought Medium, the arms are just long enough. So, yup. It's a pretty fantastic jacket, you should buy it.
