Rated 3 out of 5 by from okay for car camping but won't fit in backpack After all the positive reviews I was looking forward to using this chair, but I'm a little disappointed. Described as "folding" and I mistakingly assumed it rolled up, so that it could be stuffed into a dry bag or pack. It folds flat so it is very thin, but is way too large to fit into a backpack. I have since learned Crazy Creek does make a roll up version. This chair is lightweight and provided great back support, but I could have used a little more cushion on the bottom. Ended up using with a Therm-a-rest Lite seat. Better than nothing, but overall not worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bomber Comfy Chair Used my Moosejaw rewards points to get this bad boy (it's blue, so I'm assuming it's a dude), and it was the best purchase I've made it a while. You might ask, "What do you need that for, Dude?". Well, do you ever sit? If you do, get this chair. Live in Southern Illinois and have taken this thing climbing, backpacking, and even used it as a kayak seat. It stands up to the rough sandstone here and insulates well. If you want to be able to sit back and relax while on the trail or have a comfy place to belay, this is your chair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got it for camping-and have used for other things since I wasn't so sure about this chair when I saw it and how inexpensive it was that it would actually be comfortable. However, luckily I was wrong-this chair is very comfortable and convenient. I have only used it for car camping, so I am not sure how it would work for backpacking, but I have also used it at outdoor concerts, etc. since the handle makes it easy to carry. I have also once used it as seating in my small apartment (sorry, sister!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome chair for camping! This chair is so functional and makes sitting at a campsite much more comfortable. It is easy to clip to the outside of a backpack or even to sit on in a canoe. I just ordered my second one after losing my first one. To be honest, if I hadn't lost mine I would probably have never needed to order a new one because they are so durable. But I had to order a new one because it is so comfortable to sit in. I even use it in my home on occasion!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but not quite what I wanted First I ended up with a chair that requires one to inflate a therm-a-rest[-style] mattress in it. Totally not what I was looking for. This is closer. And it's comfortable and fairly light, but still too bulky to take on anything aside from a car-camping trip: it can't fit in a pack, and it isn't very convenient to strap to a pack. It'll probably serve me well on a beach trip or something.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet action, get one...NOW!!! I bought a Crazy Creek while I was at Philmont, and it's just a wonderful product. I've got one of those Thermorests that comes down about to my knees. So this is also perfect for making a full size sleeping pad. The Crazy Creek instantly pays for itself the first time you sit in it around a fire with the rest of your crew or group. You'll never want to backpack or camp without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Bottom Line is that I LOVE THIS CHAIR I have wanted a crazy creek chair for what seems to be FOREVER now and I couldn't believe I found one that rocked the Moosejaw logo. That was a complete bonus since I already advertise Moosejaw to all people I know. However, these chairs are absolutely great. They are not only amazing to bring out camping but also to pack around when at outdoor music festivals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Comfortable Bought this chair for my son's 3 week wilderness adventure. He couldn't have survived without it since there was absolutely no where to sit for 3 weeks. It so useful even after the camping trip - he totes it along to sporting events, social gatherings and just hanging out at home with his friends! He will keep it forever!!!
