Moosejaw Staff Pick "This is my water bottle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My water bottle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My water bottle, without me, is useless. Without my water bottle, I am useless. I must drink my water bottle true. I must sip straighter than my enemy who is trying to out-hydrate me. I must out-hydrate him before he out-hydrates me. I will...
My water bottle and myself know that what counts in this hike is not the miles we walk, the noise of our emergency whistle, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the drink that count. We will drink...
My water bottle is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its moosejaw and its top. I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage as I will ever guard my legs, my arms, my eyes and my heart against damage. I will keep my water bottle clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will...
Before God, I swear this creed. My water bottle and myself are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life. So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but peace!

Moosejaw Staff Pick "I promise that I'm not choosing this bottle just because it features the name of the company I am trying desperately to impress. Really, this bottle is the best water bottle I've ever owned. The five-star reviews from custies like you really say it all: strong, durable, BPA-free and sexed up by that fantastic Moosejaw logo that you all are so proud to display. While mine may not have experienced a fall down a rocky cliff like one of yours did, it has survived being dropped on countless other hard surfaces without so much as a dent to show for it. Plus, since this bottle can withstand very hot temperatures, I've been known to fill it with coffee instead of water. Yeah, I know its maximum capacity is 32 ounces. What's your point?" The Moosejaw Nalgene Tritan Water Bottle is made of super-tough Tritan, with an attached loop-top cap that won't come loose. The large opening easily accommodates ice cubes, fits most water purifiers and filters, and makes hand-washing a breeze. Dishwasher safe, but top rack only style. Make sure it does not come in contact with heating element. This water bottle is BPA free.
The water bottle you receive may have a different color lid than what is pictured here. We promise somebody in the warehouse will get yelled at every time it happens. We're sorry for everything and please don't hate us.

I've lost count of how many nalgene bottles I've gone though in the past couple of years. I love nalgene bottles- they are light, hold lots of water, have marking so you can see how much you've had to drink, have a wide mouth that makes dissolving electrolyte tabs a breeze, and perhaps most importantly are taste free, and dont hold onto odors/strong flavors. I also love that you can clip a carabiner to the loop thing. It goes without saying that these bottles are super tough- mine have survived dropping down 20 feet onto rocks, being thrown against pavement, and more. The only reason I've had to replace them is because I lose them (I'm a bit of a scatterbrain).
This is an awesome water bottle. It's very durable, and the cap threads on perfectly every time. It's made out of very durable material, and it will take any beating that you throw at it. A neat trick that I do is poor near boiling hot water into it, wrap it with some sort of fabric, and sleep with it in my sleeping bag during cold nights. This makes frigid temperatures much more bearable.
Purchased the one in Berry. Looks just like the one in the picture. I have been using my old water bottle from camp back in high school so I decided it was time to move on up. Everyone always asks what moosejaw means and of course I then go on a long rant about how awesome moosejaw actually is.
I mean it's a water bottle, it's excellent at holding liquids without leaking. You'd think that eventually it'd get too dirty or too old or it'd break or something like that. Nope, these things last forever. I wish it fit in my cup holder...
I own two of these myself and have lost both of them to friends because they liked them so much so I would recommend picking up multiples of these their great when your on the go and if you drink as much water as I do it's nice to not have to constantly refill the water bottles. They last a long time and don't break easily at all, Even after many drops they have yet to break or fall apart on me. Love them!
"It's more than just a water bottle, it's a friend!"
I bought two of these quite a few years back, one red the other blue. The red one was instantly lost. But that's okay because I like blue better. All these years it still holds water and has never leaked. It never cracked despite how many times I've dropped it. Also, I haven't washed in at least a year and it doesn't stink inside.
used 2 of these on a 3 night backcountry trip on Cumberland Island ... Only 1 complaint (& w/ a caveat): not "lightweight" - much lighter options on the market... but (caveat) heavier is the price you pay for durability... & these ARE DURABLE!What I love:- durable- easy to clean (good for backcountry... hyd.bladders & tubes IMO are NOT easy to clean in the backcountry)- transparent w/ grad lines [oz/ml] (track hydration, + easy food rehydration)- works with steri-pen UV water purifier (see purifier active... ALSO measure specific amount for sterilization)- fits in side pockets of multi-day packs & day-pack... (unfortunately not in car cup holder)
This bottle is everything you expect from a nalgene, with the moosejaw name on it. this nalgene will stand up to the elements while backpacking and camping, and look great doing it. I now have two of these, and they really are the perfect water bottle.
"It's a nalgene water bottle that says Moosejaw on the side. Bonus: TOTALLY WATERPROOF!"
These bottles will last for as long as you're willing to take care of them. If you feed it, water it, and keep it clean, it'll last for years. I really only ever replace them when I forget to clean it and it gets too funky or when the cap strap finally cracks and lose the cap. Color choices help keep track of which bottle is yours.
