I was given one of these as a christmas gift. I never thought I would use this, but after a long day of walking I cant wait to use this. You dont think you will need it or want it but you will. The build quality of this is great just like any other moosejaw brand item.
For realz though, you can't go into a wilderness trip without this. It doesn't matter if you're kayaking, canoeing, backpacking, or canyoning- this is the original camp chair and nothing else comes close. Seriously- I've used this on ten day trips like it's the king's throne. Comfy, adjustable, waterproof, and it does a pretty good job at holding anything that won't fit into your pack, too. GET IT or be square, y'allz!
I personaly would not tote this on my back out walking. However my sister likes to watch her daughter play volleyball on the bleachers and was sitting up on the top row as to have the wall to support her back. Now she can sit anywhere she likes. She said it works well, maybe she is just saying that, I don't know. Seemed well made, I think they also make a special "bleacher" model?
This chair is pretty much the bomb yo. Yeah its totally gnarly and radical, tubular too. Ok that is my extent of early 90's vernacular. The chair holds up to pretty much anything, including fat people who like to lean all the way back and try to break it. NO SIR says this chair, perfect for the campfire in any weather. I used it winter camping in the adirondack mountains and it kept my butt warm. perfect!!!

This chair is more comfortable than most of the normal ones I have around my house. Should double nicely as a half-size sleep pad. Can't wait to get it into the field.
Bought this for christmas for my dad. He's gettin old so stadium seats are the worst for him. He takes this everywhere and it is very sturdy and comfortable for his 6'2 50yr old frame.
