Awesome bag, funny colorGot this bag for winter, so I can carry my laptop and other doo-dads while I bike to work. It totally fits the bill - great features, great fit, I'm absolutely in love with the stylin. I wanted a light, visible color for the long dark AK winters so I got the limestone. On the screen, this color looks kind of white-ish, silver-ish so I was super excited. When it arrived, it's really more of a tan/sand color, kind of a weird match with the electric blue accent color. But since the features are so awesome, I'm going to keep it. I'll probably cover it with reflective tape anyway, so it works for me. Just be aware when you buy.

Tried and Tested on 3 continents and still going strong!I purchased this daypack as my excursion pack for my backpacking trip that i am halfway through. This pack is my daily use pack and operates like a dream. The airflow technology on the shoulder straps and back pad are legit and allow for a comfortable experience in the most unpleasant of circumstances(40+ centigrade in the outback). It has survived pouring rain in the blue mountains(everything was dry). I get compliments on this pack all of the time. My only complaint (this is most likely my fault) is that one of the u-lock loops on the front has frayed a bit. The biggest praise on this item is how well thought out the pockets and enclosures are on this bag.

Solid school/daypackI bought this pack for commuting to grad school via the old motor. its quite roomy with enough space to tuck in my rain shell in the front side zip pocket as well as all of my computer cords/random chargers. The main pocket is spacious, holding an anatomy book, couple of binders, and my 15" laptop with ease. The shoulder straps are comfy, but not necessarily day hiking worthy. also note that despite having nice waterbottle pockets on the sides, they may be cumbersome since stuff in the side pockets can get in the way. other than that, solid bag and best of all, i got it with rewards points! goooooo mooooosejaw

A great compromiseAs a 17th-grader (grad school), itâs safe to say Iâve had my fair share of experience with backpacks. In my opinion, the Esteban really takes the cake. I bought it bc I have to lug my old chunk of a laptop around, and I bike in to school. My 15â mac fits into the sleeve, it is comfy to bike with, and you can use this bag for more than just carrying your tech stuff around, because it is so lightweight. I got the blueberry, and the color more subdued than it appears on the website, but in a good way. And the red highlights look great! ,,,,Bottom line: This bag is a great compromise between a school and outdoor bag, and it is really cheap when considering how high quality it is. ,,

Sweeeeeet pack! How can you not love a Co-lab baby from Moosejaw and Osprey? This pack was a delight right outta the box, from it's cool color scheme to the hidden stash pocket. I love the organization pockets, and the side zippered pockets are perfect for stashing a pack cover or extra layer. Document sleeve is nice, and laptop panel works well, though I wish it had more padding on bottom. The pack feels great on your shoulders and carries well with the handle. If I could suggest one improvement it would be a hipbelt with pockets, to make it even more versatile during day hikes and long commutes. Overall, a REALLY sweet pack from two great companies that will leave your friends feeling a bit jealous.

Better than puppies and double rainbowsIn my dream world, a pack for grad school should be just as burly for the trail. After searching for this combo for years, Iâve found true love. The Esteban is too legit to quit. The back panel = great ventilation. More pockets than you can shake a stick at & all are useful without making you feel like a turtle. Easily absorbs a computer, a few notebooks, 2 ungodly heavy textbooks, lunch & hoody. And, I wonât hesitate unloading this guy on the weekends & hauling it on a serious hike. The ultimate kicker: this puppy fits my husband (who is 6â) AND me (sub 5â), provided I crank down the straps. Though I have no plans to share. Moosejaw & Osprey, your out of wedlock child is officially awesome.

Like the Osprey Comet, but betterThis pack is nearly identical to the Osprey Comet (which I've also reviewed), just with some changes to the back panel.,,,,Biggest up is the addition of the u-lock loops, which are totally awesome. The diamond-shaped patch is also great for a blinky light. These two features combined make the transition from bike to work (or bar, or wherever) much quicker than with the Comet.,,,,Another nice change is the removal of the flap over the main zipper, which had a nasty habit of getting caught in the pull. The downside is, the zippers on the pack do not appear to be waterproof, which means this pack will probably not fare as well in heavy rain as the Comet does.,,,,Awesome pack for city cyclists.

Best. Backpack. EVER.This is the best backpack I've ever owned. I purchased the blueberry color. The colors aren't quite as bold and bright as the picture but it's still really awesome. I went to San Francisco this summer and carried this around everywhere we went. I carried my iPad around with me and it fit perfectly in the padded sleeve. There are also a bunch of pockets that were perfect for me to put my phone, wallet, digital camera, iPod, and other stuff in. The padding on the straps are so comfy that I often forgot I was carrying a bag full of stuff around all day! Couldn't be happier with my purchase!
