Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just about perfect. I bought this after returning a Patagonia ultralight down jacket. The two are comparable in weight and warmth, but the fit on the Montbell is WAY better. I got a large in both, and the Patagonia was enormous in the body. I'm 6'4", 42" chest, 36" sleeve, 34" waist. The Montbell fits just about perfectly in large--it's a bit more roomy than I'd like in the midsection, but nothing I can't live with. Just right in the arms and chest, with room to comfortably layer a 200 weight Icebreaker underneath. If it wears as well as my Montbell Alpine light parka, I'm going to enjoy it for a long time. Love the sepia color too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect For three seasons this is always in my pack. It doesn't weigh enough to consider taking out. Unless it is winter and we are going to be up high I find this jacket with a base layer and shell a warm combination at rest stops or belays.. Quality has been good (2 years old now, over 100 trips) and no issues. You will need a wind shirt or parka over it in cold windy conditions. It is not windproof. If I were to do it over again I would get the similar one with a hood. Other than that, perfect. ,,I thought it was pricey when i purchased it, but it was worth it in retrospect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good jacket, looser fit than ideal I'm 5'10" and 140lb and the sleeves were fairly loose and there was excess arm flaps, there's some unnecessary heat loss because of the poor wrist elastic. also lacks waist elastic. Its great down and still warm, but not ideal fit nor very wind proof. I demand perfection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best mid layers available. This sweater is amazing...soft,warm, and ultalight. I love it. Makes agreat base layer or a light to medium jacket. Compresses to almost nothing. !00% recommend it ..
