Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most amazing jacket I've ever owned! My xl weighs in at just under 6.5 ounces and I practically forget it's in my pack until I need it.,,,,This is definitely an inner layer piece or just for around camp in milder conditions. I'm 6'2", weight 196 lbs, and not much can fit under it. I could probably squeeze a 100wt fleece under it in addition to my base layer if I had to. Definitely size up.,,,,Generally I throw this on over my base layer and wind shirt if it's cold and I'm not planning on wearing it for long. Otherwise it goes under the windshirt to protect it from snagging on anything while setting up camp or cooking and the like because the material is so thin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from spartan, but light and very functional if your looking for a trendy down jacket w/ a lot of bells and whistles- then this jacket is not for you, if your looking for a very light and functional insulating layer- then this may be just the ticket,,,,no pockets, no drawstring, no extra features at all, but a very good warmth to weight ratio- the jacket is extremely light- 6.0 oz on the nose for a men's size large, the 900 down lofts nicely and the jacket takes up very little room in a pack- slightly more than apple :),,,,I find myself using this jacket every trip- evenings around camp, getting the morning coffee going and extending the range of my sleeping bag when necessary,,,,a great piece of ultralight gear!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Max warmth for the weight Very warm at 6.0 oz (size large on a postal scale). Yes, you may miss pockets...and the drawcord hem...but for the weight for a full zip jacket is incredible. Be careful on the sizing. I'm 6'1", 185 and the large is perfect at the waist and sleeve length, but could use a bit more at the shoulders. I tried the XL and the waist had about 4-5" extra space that would billow cold air when worn alone...where the waist on the large was close hugging without riding up. Went with the large. Packs crazy small as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Product This is one of the best buys of all my gear! It runs a tad short on length, but nothing to write home about. For 15 degree weather and all I need is a long sleeve underneath and I'm good to go. For windy days or rain use this bad boy under a waterproof jacket and your good to go! Packs away into a small stuff sack, saving you a lot of room and weight. You'll think twice about packing a bulky fleece when you have this as an option. You will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect lightweight warmth It's super light, packs super small, and is pretty warm. I'll wear a light rain jacket over top as a shell, and this jacket will serve me well into the 20 degree Fahrenheit range.,,,,While initially concerned about how durable the thin fabric would be, after a year I feel confident it can handle any normal use.,,,,I'm 6'4", 175 lbs and the medium fits great. The sleeves are slightly long for a medium, which is perfect for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the coolest piece of gear I own this jacket is amazing! It basically does not weight anything and is very warm. I can wear it in 20 degree conditions while just walking and it will keep you warm with just a mid weight base layer. It packs down very small and is a nice little piece of insurance in your pack in case conditions get cold. Its cut is a little short but otherwise fits well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great ultralight jacket i was kinda skeptical about using it backpacking because of the extremely thin material it uses, but the jacket works great. i used it on a trip to the top of longs peak in Colorado, and it kept me very comfortable on our early morning start. i will always pair it with a wind jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a gem! I love this jacket! I've been using it for two years, and it's fantastic! I weighs just about nothing, but keeps me warm in the evening, and on chilly rest stops. Add a wind shell, beanie and gloves, and I'm good for just about anything! Excellent for layering!
