Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first running shoe! I'm a sophomore in highschool and just started cross country this year. I originally had some old kinvaras (3rd model) and started getting pain so went to my local running store and they recommended these. The ride is very smooth. The shoe is also not that heavy. I put soles in that you heat up and will make a mold of your foot and they are very comfortable with these shoes. The toe box is very nice it really gives a lot of room. The only problem I could see was the midfoot area is just a bit narrow. For me it is not a problem but I could see people with wider feet complaining. But all in all I love this shoe and hope to run in many more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ankle Slicers Moved to these from the Wave Inspire 8s, and in the beggining it was love at first mile. That is, until my first long run. The lower profile on these shoes ultimately took a tool on the side of my ankle after about 8 miles. After having to stop to see what was happening, i noticed that the shoe had rubbed my skin so raw that it created a small gash on the outside of my ankle. A real shame, as I liked the material of the 10s (not to mention the notable reduction in weight versus the 8s). But after the experience I had, it is back to the drawing board for something to replace my last pair of 8s before I have to retire them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best shoes I've ever used I've been a runner for nearly 30 years. This is, hands down, one of the best fitting and performing shoes I've ever used. I realize, that by nature, shoe experiences are so subjective, but for me, a neutral-ish to moderately pronating, former elite runner, who is now 40 lbs heavier than those days of old, this shoe does the trick. I just hope that Mizuno continues this shoe line, with little change. The one "complaint" I have is that the forefoot is a bit thin. I do feel rocks in the road when I step on them, much less while offroad. If Mizuno added 1 - 2 mm of forefoot cushioning, that may really seal the deal for me as the most perfect shoe, ever! Thanks Mizuno.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits just fine I found the fit just fine EU 46 or UK 11 and got this as I'm a mild pronator and wanted something quicker for marathon race day that was lighter than the Kayano 20. I did a few longer runs in the Inspire 10s which were ok but they took a little getting used to. They were good for race day - Amsterdam 2014 and got a pb of 3:27 (despite humid windy conditions). With only 150 miles completed they have the same sole wear (mild wear) as my Kayano's at 500 miles but suspect Mizuno's will still be strong for another 300 miles. Laces are a bit long and need to double tie. In blue they look great and wear them in the office on Fridays. Grip has been fine in the wet on pavements.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from less cushioning and poor road feel I have been wearing this shoe since the inspire 6. Mizuno changed something with the 9 that caused friction and blisters on the inside of my heel. This change has carried over to the 10 as well but it does seem to be less of an issue here. It also seems like Mizuno chose to provide less cushioning in the forefoot for this version. It feels way too firm and the heel feels too high. My feet have been sore. I don't care if the shoe is 0.01 mcg lighter, especially if you have to ruin a good shoe to shed weight. Also, the midfoot upper has no give and it causes pain if the shoes are even a little bit to tight.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inspire 10 is great but problem with construction I really like the Inspire line and have gone back and forth with the Saucony Guides. I purchased the Inspire 10 about 2 months ago and have run a marathon and half marathon in them. Fast shoe and works great for me as a mild over pronator but I have a problem with the construction of the mesh upper. As you can see in the picture below my big toe has torn a hole can this be repaired? I have a water proof band-aid in there now to hopefully stop the hole from getting bigger. I hope there is a solution here but just can't see myself buying this shoe again if I have to throw them out after a couple of months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome update! I've worn the Inspire since the first model and really loved the 9's. When I got the 10's I was really excited although they felt a bit stiff when I first put them on. The first couple of runs I honestly didn't like them, they felt firm, the piece at the bottom of the laces broke across my toes and the just didn't feel right. By about the fourth or fifth run the softened up and became the best shoes I've ever worn and continue to get better with each run. I encourage anyone not happy with them to be patient and give them some time, they will become the best shoes you have ever worn!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the 10's Ever since I started wearing Mizuno's, mainly the Inspires, I have not been disappointed. Going from the 9's to the 10's was such an easy transition for me plus the 10's were a lot more comfortable than the 9's. The only down side on the 10's was that the front of the sole wore out a lot faster than it did with my 9's. The front sole on my 9's still looks like it's brand new compared to my 10's that have worn down like a bald tire. Also, my shoes also seem to wear out at my small toe with both the 9's and the 10's. I hear that Mizuno has changed the sole for less wear on the 11's, but, I hope they can extend the material in the toe box to the small toe to eliminate the wearing away of that particular spot.
