Good training partnerIt's a hang board. How can you go wrong? As a newer (aka not super strong) climber, I like the versatility of holds this offers. Once I graduate to the real work outs, which I hear Metolius has some excellent training programs available to use with this board, it will probably be even awesomer. For now I love that it has big jugs on the top, and the pinch grips on the sides are entertaining even though I slide off them quickly. It did take a few minutes to figure out which direction to mount it, as the photo in the instruction pamphlet is of a different board that hangs with the wider part at the top. Eventually figured it out. Life is good.

Wimpy fingers? This is the solution. Dangle by your digits to gain superpowers!Mount this over your bedroom door. Do NOT walk through the doorway without putting your hands on the board. Just enough texture to hold and toughen sensitive finger tips.,,This is not meant to be your climbing gym. Go outside for that. Use this every day to toughen your sausage fingers so when you do manage to overcome your agoraphobia your hands will be tough as nails and you can channel your fear into successfully clinging to your chosen rock face.

Great training toolI bought this board based on a few reviews I read online as well as the recommendations of friends. So far it has been fantastic, the texture is awesome, it doesn't abuse your fingers like other plastic boards. The only downside is that it is quite a bit larger than the average hangboard and therefore is a bit harder to mount. It's definitely worth it though as this board has enough hold choices to keep me busy for the foreseeable future.

Best training device you can get for the moneyI have the Metolius Contact training board in my climbing garage and love using it so much I'm putting one in my home office. Never be without one! My finger strength is better than ever and I'm constantly challenging myself with new and different drills.
