"Really nice nuts"  11/23/10

These nuts go in really well, maintain better contact than other nuts (bd) and bite really well. The only downside i guess is that they can be a little harder to get out, but thats worth the peice of mind. But just use your nut tool to get 'em out. They are noticeably lighter than other nuts that I have used, the disadvantage to this is you can't slide the chock down and "sling" something with it, but if you free climb, who cares? And on the plus, no swage makes them alot less bulky and they rack really well.I would for sure recommend these for sure. A really good quality nut.

"pretty!"  05/20/10

gorgeous looking and work good in curvy cracks (surprise). rated a little stronger than black diamond stoppers too.

"Solid passive pro"  10/16/08

Bottom line - if you don't mind the swage-less design (how man anchors have you *really* had to build on hangerless bolts?) then these are lighter than your BDs (roughly the same sizes in this range as the 4-13 BDs), beautifully made, and remain stiff enough to make placement a cinch. A great addition to any trad rack.

"Very light, very reliable, buy these and begin trad!"  12/12/07

These nuts are great for climbers trying to ease into trad climbing. These are much lighter than the set I had in the past. I highly suggest getting a set of these and a set of hexes to start your rack before getting any active protection. Passive protection, such as these nuts, are good for range and placement skill building. They hold very well in cracks if placed right, but DO NOT forget to buy a nut tool to get these babies out or you will be very frustrated. Buy these bad boys already!
