I have purchased the Metolius Super Chalk Sock before from another vendor. Overall, I am very satisfied with it. I give it bigs ups instead of love it because I prefer the chalk block. The chalk block has me rubbing chalk on once while with the chalk sock I have to dab several times. Why this over a chalk block, because the chalk sock fits better in my bag.
saves you a lot of wasted chalk with the chalk ball the super chalk itself is not as good as white gold, just my opinion I dont like the drying agent I feel like I get more flappers when my hanjavascript:ProductReviewsForm.prepareSubmit(document.ProductReviewsForm)ds are dryer
This thing definitely cuts down on mess compared to loose chalk. After I climb I just haphazardly throw my stuff in the car so I would end up with chalk every where!
The sock is a good idea, don't get me wrong. But the chalk in the sock is kinda lame, and the sock had to be emptied a fair amount to fit in my chalk bag. However, the sock is refillable, so I guess if you really hated the chalk, you could empty it out and put in other chalk. If you want a chalk sock, this is you best bet, if you can deal with the flaws.
This chalk sock is very reliable and for a great price. It holds a good amount of chalk so you don't have to refill it frequently. And when you do need to refill the sock, it's very easy. The string is a little long and can get in the way sometimes, but that's the only downside. Overall, a really great sock.
got this along with a new chalk bag for my nephew. he is a newbie climber. he loved this gift! now he doesn't have to use my hubby's old one. he has been using this brand for years. we are also building a climbing wall in our garage soon so it will be getting a ton of use!
This chalk bag is awesome, its so stuffed full of chalk that it barely fit in my chalk bag new. Works a lot better than filling an old sock with chalk. And its Refillable! "LESS TALKIN MORE CHALKIN"
