This chalk is good for use when outside but never at a rock gym. Will use it to refill my chalk ball but when it is in loose form it is very messy. Will not get it again if a chalk ball is available. Not very easy to use.

For the price you cannot go wrong. This chalk is perfect for keeping your hands dry on the wall. Although, I regret not getting a bigger a bag.

Feels good, has a good grip. I just started climbing and thats my first chalk I bought. Its cheap and it lasts a long time if you don not accidently spill it!

I thought it would be convenient, and it was cheap enough, but it gets everywhere - more than block chalk does. But it's easy to use, so I guess that's nice. I think I'm going back to blocks when this is done, though.

this is pretty solid climbing chalk. Getting it ground is definitely worth it. It could be ground better though, because there were a bit of chunks in mine.

It says that its "fine grind" but mine was really clumpy. The chalk still works though.

This is exactly the same thing as block chock except already ground up for you, so if you're lazy, then you'll love this!

"excellent chalk. would recommend." 05/23/08

this chalk is pretty good. gives me good grip. it is a little chunky in the bag though so you end up having to press it with your fingers to get it powdery. i like it though.
