Great all in one bag for the light sport climberI was looking for a rope bag that I could carry like a backpack, so I could eliminate having to bring another bag along with me. If you're looking for a bag for trad or multi-pitch, this probably isn't the bag for you. ,,,,This bag is perfect for me, which is: sport climbing/top roping. I pack a 60m rope, shoes, harness, belay device, chalk bag, tape, set of quickdraws, runners, PAS, bottle of water and a thin jacket. My helmet gets clipped to the outside. If you need anything else, you'll probably need another bag.

versatile, spacious bag that is perfect for all your basic climbing needs.A thoughtful design that allows the bag to be used as a floor for rope storage during sport/trad climbing. The separate pocket for keys/wallet/phone is always handy. It has more then enough space for all my climbing gear that i need for my regular 1-2 day adventures. Looks great and sits ergonomically on your shoulders for easy travel. Overall i would definitely recommend, particularly for beginners looking to get into climbing.

Don't listen to anyone who says this bag isn't big enoughLots of people told me that this rope bag (29L as described) would not be large enough for all of my gear and that I would still have to carry a second pack to the crag.... That was completely incorrect! Not only does this bag have an extremely large tarp for your rope and is actually quite comfortable in its backpack-form, but it also comfortably fits my 60m rope, 13 draws, extra slings and biners, harness, shoes, and chalk bag. It is literally all you need to carry out with you (minus the water I'll steal from others), so it eliminates the nuisance of carrying a backpack AND rope bag (or finding someone else to carry your rope for you). Needless to say, I've only used it once, but I am more than happy with this purchase, with the added pleasure of rubbing it in the faces of my negative-nancy friends. (Probably won't fit more gear than I described, however.)

Love this bag!Fits my 60m rope, quickdraw collection, belay devices, carabiners, harness and lunch.,,Chalk bag and shoes can be clipped to the outside. The front zippered pocket keeps my keys and phone accessible. ,,Perfect if you're buying gear for the first time and don't want to splurge on a expensive climbing pack.

Average bag.Bag isn't bad for it's price. If you want to do more than hit a bit of sport then I'd probably go whole hog and get an alpine climbing pack.
