The Screw On Plates by Metolius add depth and variety to any wooden climbing wall. They are cool because they are just big enough to match hands or cross on, but not so big as to make it too easy on you! And all of the micro-featuring can be used as mini hand or footholds to increase training difficulty. They're featured, fun AND they can go ANYWHERE on your wall and are not reliant upon a t-nut to locate them. (All holds come with our heavy-duty, self-driving decking screws for easy application.)

different than pictured, still wicked cool, very tough!Hello there … I got these holds for my home wall and they are among the toughest holds I have. The ones pictured are bubbly but I got some granite vein kinda ones with only about a one finger one pad notch to hold on to .. they are tough! I work for a climbing gym and set routes, these would probably be found on a mid 5.11 - 5.12 or V-4 and above cause they offer very little in cut or positive edge, mainly a slopey friction surface and the one finger pad dig in thats about it. If your a real tough guy you could maybe get a three finger crimp on them but personally I can't hang. ,,,,They screw in and come with some fairly beef 1-3/4" long screws. ,,,,If your looking to train on the harder end of the spectrum I would say go for it my friend these should fit the bill .. if your looking to get started or for something you can wrap your dirty mitts around keep looking home fry.
