"Very versatile and strong." 09/30/11

Great product, very versatile, and strong. Use as a single length sling with a carabiner or stretch it out as an extended runner. Also great to use as an anchor around a small tree.

"neat, i guess" 07/19/10

Like everything for climbing thats not a cam, nut, rope, biner, harness or sling, it has its place. That being said, if you have a decent collection of the things I listed, you hardly "need" to go out and buy these. In fact, if you ever meet me at a crag you can have the 2 I ordered. On the positive side, they're a tiny bit dynamic, with no safety issues that i can see.

"2 slings in one, with a slight weight increase" 12/30/09

These slings can be used as both single length and double length, so you have a choice while looking at a piece to extend as much as you want. I lend them out to friends who find its great for attaching to anchors (I prefer clove hitching with a rope for dynamic strength), the only disadvantage is that you can only use them to equalize pieces in shoulder length configuration, if you try to do equalize as a double length, you can't be redundant, so I also carry double length petzl slings as well.
