"Sweet aiders" 11/10/11
These are perfect for long routes with short sections of aid, just did the RNWF of Half Dome with them in October and they were awesome for that route! Kept them in their pocket except for the 3-4 pitches where they sped things up significantly. It's sweet that they stow away so small and don't get tangled when you are free climbing...

These things are great. They are so compact, you can't even tell that they're hooked to or on your pack. I bought one for each person on my mountaineering team and have used it a few times already. Very convienient and at a great price.

I've used this to ascend ropes for fixing and stripping holds on an artificial wall. Also for hanging cool climbing stuff on so I can look at it. It works well in both cases. Packs up small into a self contained bag so it won't tangle with anything.
