The Metolius Monster 10.2mm Rope Non-Dry is a sturdy rope for traditional and sport rock climbing. When it comes to safety, the Monster 10.2mm is strong and ready for the challenge. The non-dry version is best used in, you guessed it, dry conditions, where water is at the minimum. At the gym or on some sun-kissed rock is where it's at and the abrasion-resistant Monster won't bite back, but it'll put up a fight against rubbing, rocks, bumps and bruises. The high visibility Monster Marker lets you know right where the center is, so you can continue on with the climb.

Looks better in personBought this rope because of the number of falls it has for the price point. It was the most I could find. Climbers should replace their ropes like runners replace their shoes but most don't! I feel like this rope has the longest life because of the number of falls it allows. I didn't spring for a dry rope because it costs more and who wants to pay extra to climb in the rain? Very happy with this rope.
