"Extra length for those really overhanging climbs" 11/01/10
I couldn't climb a route without this long draw due to the gate being pushed open on a overhanging section of a climb at Farley ledges in MA. The long draw avoided the bad spot and allowed an awesome send!!
"sweet lightweight biners, decent draw overall" 10/30/10
The biners are great - which was the reason I decided to try these draws. It is cheaper than buying a set of the biners and separate slings and making them yourself (at least when I did the math). The single sown up sling is nice because it's far easier to deal with than an equivalently long regular dyneema sling. However the downside to the sown sling is it feels a bit stiffer and I'm always paranoid that it'll make my pro walk (although that becomes less likely as the length gets longer). If I could have the same draw with a regular dyneema sling for the same price, but I can't...so this is good enough.
