"Thumb loop broke within one week of use."  09/10/11

I bought the hard (orange) one and used it a few times a day for about a week and it failed. The thumb loop developed a small tear which quickly grew. If it had held together longer it would be a great product. I think it was helping.

"good for warm-ups and to pass time in the office"  12/17/10

the up side - it works on the opposite muscles of you fingers.the downside - its not very affective, and gets old quite fast.if you get this grip, be sure to take the "soft" one, to avoid injuries.

Cool idea but the thing broke on me in a couple of days. And it does say pull the tabs on the fingerloops to prevent breakin but it still broke

"Best hand warm-up/strengthening tool and great for old people with arthritic elbows"  10/28/08

The only hand strengthening tool that I know of that balances the muscles in the hand by working the extensors and flexors and all that good stuff too, rather than just working your grip. Also, as opposed to the relatively linear motion of grip strengtheners like the gripmaster, the ball tends to work stabilizer muscles in the fingers much better. My parents stole mine because it is the only thing that uncripples their arthritic elbows so i'm getting them each one for christmas.

"WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY"  03/08/08

you're better off investing in...well ANYTHING else. this thing fell apart before i even really got to use it. and i'm too busy to send it back to moosejaw, and i don't really want another one. ALL of the finger holes broke off. i don't even know why moosejaw continues to carry this product.

"Works great but doesn't last."  02/17/08

Works great while it lasts. Black rubber fingers rings don't hold up too well after moderate use. I hope Metolius can come up with a more lasting design.

"Better then using rubber bands for hand exercises!"  01/26/08

This is excellent to isolate muscles for hand strength training. It takes a bit of patience to get all of your fingers in place.

I have this and the BD forearm trainer ring. I think I like this one better b/c it does the extensions too.

"Probably wouldn't buy one again."  01/02/08

The grip saver works well but the black rubber finger bands do not last very long. Metolius sent me out a new one at no charge but that one has already broken also. If they can find a way to make the product more durable it would be good.

"Great finger stretcher or projectile"  12/29/07

Awkward at first, takes some use before you feel it stretching your muscles. Also try keeping it stretched out for a longer period of time, builds endurance.

"Mmm... gripsaver."  11/26/07

This is one amazing product. After only a week of use I can now crush walnuts like The Godfather and scare my enemies by making them think I am holding a thermal detonator. You should have seen that Jabba's face! What a loser. It's just an old Jedi mind trick, but hey. I also let a teething baby chew on my grip saver, and it STILL works great!
