Just clip the next placement and pull on the tail to instantly adjust foot height exactly where needed. No more fighting the feet out of, and then back into your aider. "Great for jugging" 07/02/09

To be clear, I will not be retiring my aid ladders and etriers because of these, but for jumaring, these can't be beat. They're extremely easy to adjust on the fly, even while hanging. The wide stirrup is very comfortable, and the buckle keeps it securely in place--your foot doesn't go flapping around. They really make jugging much, much easier, without adding a lot of weight. When my current pair wears out, I'll be back for a second set.

"Overall I like them better than the 3 or 4 aider standard method and would recommend them." 07/17/06

The easy aider takes one of the worst aspects of aid climbing and greatly simplifies it. Since you strap your boot into the aider, you never have to struggle to step up into the higher step. The one handed adjustable strap works pretty well and holds the biner in tight. It is also pretty easy to pull up and take out slack.

Cons: when transitioning from aid to free, it is much more cumbersome to get out of aid mode. It is also possible to grab the release loop and create a static fall drop potential on the piece your weighting. This is because there is no grap loop and the easy aider, but you can add one w/ a bit of webbing.

Pros: wide support strap to help out with arch fa
