A small and simple design this belt is everything you need to hold on your chalk bag, nothing more and nothing less. The simplicity of the design makes it easy to take off at the end of the day when your hands don't want to work anymore. This is a piece of gear that will always be in my bag when I go climbing.
got this so i wouldn't have to use a carabiner to hold my chalk bag and i love it. i was afraid the hook closure might easily pop off, but after jumping around with it on i'm convinced it will stay.
If you find Carabiner's annoying and cumbersome, and haven't found a way to comfortably hang your chalk bag, this will solve your problems. The metal clip releases easy but doesn't let go unless you want it to.
I do like the fact that this chalk bag belt has a metal buckle instead of a plastic clasp. I am certain that it will outlast the belt unlike my old plastic one that broke very quickly. This belt is easy to adjust also if you need to share with a friend.
