Great for climbers who have a big weight difference, let me explain.I am about 150lb and my gf is a tiny 90lb. So I pull her up HARD with a lead fall. What we did was buy this Haul bag (get Large) and carry it out to the crag and fill it with rocks we find there and then use a spare quickdraw to attach it to her belay loop. Easily adds 10-30lbs of weight, depending on the rocks you add. Could be a little more durable in the inside. If you try this you might want to consider adding a canvas lining, but ours hasn't broken yet. Either way, if you and your climbing partner have a huge weight difference try this. Beats other crazy ideas I have heard people say, like carrying out weights. And anchoring to roots gives a hard hard catch. Try it out!!!!!! I have had so many fellow climbers love it since I have recommended it to them.

simple design that works, and quality materials to boot! This sack does it's job without issue. I have been using it as a rope bag and for that task it's great. The construction is top notch - good materials, handles are comfortable on the hand or easily hooked to a pack. I think my favorite part is the material, which is light but rugged, and the fact that mine came in desert camo color (legit!)
