"awesome selection and quality" 11/25/12

I purchased this product for my at home climbing gym. The holds offer a great selections. There are plenty of larger jug style holds for my overhangs and the selection of chips and medium size holds is really good also. My kids love the different shapes and colors, they look much better on the wall then some of the plain grey ones I have purchased from other providers. The texture is really good, not to rough and not to smooth. I would buy this again.

"Best choice for a Home Climbing Wall" 05/14/12

I have a 8x8 home wall tilted backwards at 15-20 degrees. I first bought the Metolius 30 hold set but the coverage of holds it provided the most minimal amount of routes. I then bought the 50 hold set. Overall, the holds seem to be much bigger as well as obviously more of them. The 50 hold set in my opinion seems to be the best bang for the buck for starting a home climbing wall. I wouldn't recommend buying both of the sets I bought together since you receive so many holds that can only be used as footholds. Better to buy the 50 hold set and then macros and or jugs.

"Good set to start a wall." 03/07/10

Over the years I've purchased Metolius' 30, 40, and now 50 hold set for my cave in the basement. I should have gotten the 50 hold set first, since many of the holds in this pack are HUGE. If you want to start out with some big holds to set your wall up, get the 50 pack. Unfortunetly, what I need most (since my wall is mostly ceiling) are roof jugs, this set came with a large amount of mini jugs and incuts. If I was just starting a wall out, this would be ideal. Overall I'm happy I got the set.

"Great set and Moosejaw rocks!" 02/01/08

excellent selection of holds. you have to be careful with the screw on holds as they can break easily. but my buddy and i now have a hell of a wall set up in the silo of his families empty barn. the hold could have broke because it we picked the coldest weekend of the year... -20F, but once we got the package we were too excited not to get to work at once! Love Moosejaw! Everything comes personalized and they have the best customer service ever!

"Liked the product, the website, free shipping, a lot, a little dissapointed with the undrilled hold." 06/15/06

Everything was great about the product except a few things. I cracked one of the small footholds when I screwed it on. I know I tightened it a little too much when I put it on and it popped, a little frsutrating, but I understand. The second problem was that one of the holds was not drilled. I tried to contact MJ and they asked me to send it back, I don't want to mess around with shipping back defective parts, for the shipping cost I might as well buy a masonery drill bit and drill it myself.
