"Bare Minimum for a Starter Set" 05/13/12

My climbing wall is an 8x8 wall tilted backward about 15-20 degrees. The holds included in the set mostly work for this angle but their are a few that seem more suited to a vertical wall. These ended up being footholds. Coverage for a 8x8 wall is very minimal. If you are on a budget, this will get you started but you will be very limited on what you can do.For the money if you have it, the 50 hold set is a much better value. You get plenty of big holds to fill out a wall plus it seems that the holds are much bigger overall.

"I think the 40 and 50 Mega Hold kits have more Bang for Your Buck" 01/03/11

I think the 40 and 50 Mega Hold kits have more Bang for Your Buck because the size of the holds get a lot bigger in size and more expensive in value. The 30 hold kit does have a good selection to get started but I would buy the foot hold pack to go along with this and its fairly cheap. I would recommend this set to anyone just getting started building a wall.

I bought this for my husband to make a rock wall on the back of our garage. He is super excited because this one kit includes everything that you need to do it! I will have to post a picture of how awesome it is :)

"The 90 degree corner hold was as big as my head - well, at least as big as my kid's head!" 10/05/07

KILLER DEAL!! Man, with a great sale price and a coupon I scored on top of that this was a sweet buy. It's a great selection of holds - the corner hold and rail are ginormous. I doubled the size of my garage wall and this is, by far, the best way to fill in the gaps. Highly recommended psst. . . the 50 hold mega set is an even better deal, but my wife wouldn't let me spend that much.

This set of 30 holds is fantastic. GREAT variety. lots of screw on footholds which is nice. LOVE the screw on rail. The screw on outside corner is amazing, as long as you have a place you can put it. I think the screw on corner gets the most attention and adds a little extra element to my wall. There's also one pretty big hold that can be used for darn near anything. Get creative. oooh, and a free little home wall booklet too!

"Awsome value" 07/08/06

Some excellent holds for the money. Everything from giant jugs to rails to irritating little crimps. My only complaint is they give you EXACTLY the amount of hardware you need; crossthread a single T-nut and its off to the hardware store for a replacment.

Moosejaw,<BR><BR>Justin is actually my boyfriend who bought the 30 Hold Mega Set from you as a birthday gift to me. I had no idea and it was a total surprise... when I got the box. Yeah, he said it was supposed to be shipped as a gift... However, on the side of the box, clearly marked, in full color, was the product itself. Not that I was disappointed. Quite the opposite. I just thought you might want a heads up regarding quality control. Oh, and the receipt/pricing was all inside the box, too. heh<BR><BR>Totally awesome assortment though. We will send you pictures as soon as we get the wall completed!<BR><BR><BR>-Vanessa<BR><BR>PS: Glad that Debbie SWAKed our box. That is awesome
