I use these all the time to set anchors. The colors are great and the material is super strong. They have held up in all sorts of conditions. These are staples for my climbing experience.
These are lightweight, tough slings (relative for weight and width). I didn't pay attention to the width description and just looked at the picture before I bought. They look super skinny in the pics, but they're not. If your slings might get draped over rock for toprope setups, go for it, but then you might not need so lightweight and should just use cordelettes or tougher slings. If you're using it for lead, get some 8mm tubular slings instead, much lighter and easier to shorten in a quickdraw. Good for a solid, first bolt or gear placement on lead. I have no idea what “avail. tight one or both ends “ in the description means.
"Good sling, just don't expect all of the same color"

I like these Metolius Spectra Slings, but was disappointed with the various colors of the same size sling. I prefer to have my slings of one length be the same color. Other than this I've got no complaints.
I bough both a dynex and spectra runners with the intention of comparing them. Unfortunately, I can't remember which is which right now. This may be the most useless review ever and just writing it is starting to make me angry. I'm pretty sure that the Spectra has a softer feel, but it doesn't much matter unless you like to use your runners to apply ointments to your skin or something crazy like that.
These slings are great for just about anything from cleaning a route to hanging a hammock. Top that with cheap enough to leave that annoying friend bound to a tree…priceless addition to anyone’s gear bag
