The Merrell Mix Master 2 is here to get the party started. The sticky rubber outsole and 3.5 mm lugs on this puppy will keep you upright on any surface, even the glorious polished concrete of a roller rink. A 4 mm heel to toe drop gives you the added benefit of a close connection to the ground without sacrificing some decent cushioning underneath your feet, so you can spin your favorite 90's ballads all night long. The upper is super lightweight, but you won't have to be concerned about rocks and stuff getting in there because the bellows tongue keeps all the riffraff out. It won't filter out the incessant Journey song requests, though. Sorry. Take it out for a night on the town or a day on the trail, the Mix Master will groove to any tune.

good looking, fairly minimal, good soleI have been wearing barefoot shoes but recently got tendonitis and so am looking for something with a bit more cushion but not a lot of lift. These seem to fit the bill. I ordered 8.5 and they fit perfect and I believe are true to size although my feet are narrow and these seem to run narrow. The sole is knobby but a little flexible and sticky which I think will work great on a lot of different surfaces. Even though they have more cushion than my barefoot shoes they are still fairly minimal for those of you moving towards barefoot. ,,I really like the purple highlights and white laces on these shoes. They look and feel great. I will be keeping these.
