Hello from Canada I was on early morning dog "do" duty. One must rise prior to 6AM and if even five minutes late, a cacophony of yelping and barking rises through the house. When you have to face the cold wind and rain of an early November morning, the fact that your feet feel as if they were still snuggled beneath the covers is wonderful. They also make an excellent work shoe.It's as though I'm wearing my bedroom slippers on the job which makes my feet pretty happy. Great pair of shoes. I live in CA, and they are the perfect balance between warm winter and I could-actually-wear-them-without-socks kind of shoes. I ordered them erring on the large side and they work perfect with inserts. Fit just right as long as I'm not wearing heavy socks. Wonderful. No more cold toes.

"Warm and Cozy with duability of Steel-toed Boots" 		          12/05/08
This is the 3rd pair of Merrell's in this style. One black, one brown and one grey. These are warm enough to handle the current 20 degree weather in Michigan. They are comfortable enough to wear all day. The easy wear makes them perfect when running out the door for a quick errand. The versatility and durability is superb! The low-maintenance and easy care is an added bonus just wipe them down once in awhile with some polish or spray them to re-waterproof.

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own! I have them in the dark brown and black, and love them. They fit true to size, they're warm, and easy to slip on and off, but stay secure on your feet when you're walking. The traction is excellent. I give these a 10 out of 10!

Anticipation is 90% of a phenomenal sensual experience. I perused the Moosejaw catalog, drooling over the many options to enrobe myself in soft, skin stoking warm items. There they were, the Chili slides firm suede uppers and soft furry inners. What more could a girl ask for in life. I waited a few ridiculously short days for them to arrive, hardly enough time to build up to the peak of anticipatory excitement. I slowly sliced open the outer box to reveal the strong, hard inner box. I removed the items with care, slowly stroking the soft but yet hard suede outer shell. These are terrific! I'm in and out of the car tramping through snow to clients' homes. They slip off easily when I enter a client's home and easier to jump into when I'm off to the next spot. They are super comfy and of course toasty warm.

"Warm and comfy, good snow traction, easy on and off." 		          11/09/07
Mmmmmm...fuzzy! The are definitely an Encore for me. My original Chills kept me toasty through many feet of Squaw Valley powder--without socks--for an entire season. Buy black if you care about dirt. The new beige ones got dogged by my huskies their first trip out of the box.
