"Marmot's Warmest Mitt is exactly that - warmest mitt ever!" 03/01/10
I have poor circulation - even when temps are bearable on the mountain my hands and feet are absolutely freezing. With the Warmest Mitt my hands stay a nice toasty warm ALL DAY in windy cold N PA. The synthetic down insulates great without the bulk, and it poofs around my hand encasing it completely. There is NO empty space around my fingers where cold air can collect. The soft nose wipe on the thumbs is very nice. Also works great as a goggle wipe. I haven't noticed any wetness seeping in, but synthetic down should stay warm even when wet. These mittens are exactly what Marmot says they are - the Warmest Mitt. I would recommend them to anyone.
"These are great, but they do get a little wet after a long day of riding." 06/02/08
Great for snowboarding mittens but they do get a little wet. It just depends on how much your hands are in the snow. Beginner riders will be a little wet, but experienced ones will stay dry. If you just want these because michigan is freezing!!! then get these. They are warm and feel great
